The University of Findlay recently welcomed new undergraduate and graduate students to campus for fall 2017.

The newest Carthaginians include 720 freshmen and 90 transfer students. They come from 23 U.S. states and five foreign countries: Canada, China, Japan, Kenya, and Serbia.

Ohio Wesleyan University held its 173rd commencement ceremony on May 13, 2017. The OWU Class of 2017 included 383 spring, summer, and fall graduates, with students representing 20 countries from Afghanistan to Venezuela. More than 3,000 students earned a spot on the Dean's List

Carleton College awarded the Bachelor of Arts degree to 505 graduating members of the Class of 2017 on Saturday, June 10 at its 143rd Commencement Ceremony.

During Commencement ceremonies on May 22, 2017, Lehigh University conferred 1,071 Bachelor's degrees, 360 Master's degrees and 49 Doctoral degrees. Of the nearly 1,500 graduates, degree recipients came from 41 states and 38 countries, majoring in 94 different disciplines. Congratulations, graduates!

The following students have been selected for inclusion on the Dean's List for academic achievement during the Spring 2017 semester at St. Lawrence University.

Dean's List honors are earned by undergraduate students who carry 12 or more credit hours and achieve a 3.5 grade point average or higher on the 4.0 scale.

A total of 11,101 students enrolled during the 2017 spring semester at The University of Alabama were named to the Dean's List with an academic record of 3.5 (or above) or the President's List with an academic record of 4.0 (all A's). The UA Dean's and President's lists recognize full-time undergraduate students. The lists do not apply to graduate students or undergraduate students who take less than a full course load.

Miami University students who are ranked in the top twenty percent of undergraduate students within each division for second semester 2016-17 have been named to the dean's list recognizing academic excellence.

The University of Alabama awarded approximately 5,000 degrees during spring commencement May 5-7. Students at Lehigh University attained Dean's List in Spring 2017. This status is granted to students who earned a scholastic average of 3.6 or better while carrying at least 12 hours of regularly graded courses.

Bucknell University has released the dean's list for outstanding academic achievement during the spring semester of the 2016-17 academic year. A student must earn a grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a scale of 4.0 to receive dean's list recognition.
